We are all about encouraging people to get outdoors and that is exactly why we started our free group hikes! They are a perfect way to meet other like-minded hikers both aspiring and experienced, as well as discovering amazing, accessible walks that you can enjoy whilst we guide you along the way! OUR NEXT GROUP HIKE:
Sunday 24th May CHINLEY CHURN CIRCULAR
When: Meet at 9:30am for a 10am set-off
Where: Sett Valley Trail Car Park, Station Road, Hayfield, High Peak, SK22 2ES
Difficulty: Classed as 'Moderate', 6.2 miles. One fairly steep and long incline but nice and easy after that.
Route: Start on Sett Valley Trail and then head up and up and up to a (hopefully) beautiful view at Chinley Churn. Then cut down across the fields over the road heading back towards direction of Kinder. Down into the valley and cross River Sett to head back into Hayfield.
What to bring: waterproof gear, spare socks, snacks to sustain you until circa 1pm, at least 2 litres of water, £1 min contribution for Mountain Rescue (can pay by card).
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are allowed but must be on leads.
