I’m late to the leggings party and still feel like I’m going out in public wearing my LJs. I spend lots of time outside and live in the very far north of Scotland, where our winters can be a wee bit on the wild side.
I bought these for horse riding, having exhausted my search for riding tights to my taste. They all seem to have silicone prints, for grip, apparently.
Things I love about them:
I buy size 8 M&S clothing and the size XS is perfect for my taste. I hate stuff too stretched and would normally go a size up in this type of clothing.
The fabric is so soft, comfy and cosy.
Lovely matt appearance, not like all the shiny riding tights.
No hard seams digging into my flesh.
High waist with actual elastic sewn in.
Sold by genuine, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient people, which you can only truly find with a small business.
Now the ‘nit-picking’:
My biggest moan is, looking at the photos, the regular leggings appear to have a flattering rounded seam over the bum, which has not been incorporated in these thermal ones. Why?!
Good for average chilly weather but in snow, ice, -10 deg.C, and 90mph wind, they’re going to be under my quilted, fleece-lined waterproofs!
A wee bit long but I get that with everything.
