MY URBAN TRAIL sets to dress the next generation of passionate explorers. For too long, dull designs have overpowered women’s outdoorwear but we say no more! We deserve to love pieces for both style and functionality, so whether taking to the peaks or just strolling in the city, we want all women to feel fabulous outdoors.

If you don’t already know, we are obsessed with walking and for good reason! We are on a mission to spread the word on the major health benefits of getting outside both physically and mentally.
So whether you love to walk solo, explore with your fur baby or join us on one of our fab group hikes, let’s get share this journey to a healther and happier you together.
Introducing
Our Founder
Laura founded MY URBAN TRAIL amidst the 2020/21 Coronavirus pandemic. With cities in lockdown, calendar plans scratched and workload causing increased anxiety, Laura soon found a new love for the outdoors in a search for escapism.
Exploring the alluring landscapes on her doorstep in Derbyshire, she traded in her blazers & tapered trousers for waterproofs & leggings.
Refusing to sacrifice her love of style for comfort (not to mention the usual hefty price tags), Laura found it incredibly difficult to find anything that met her needs and desires in outdoorwear.
Whether walking or trail running, Laura also discovered the amazing mental and ofcourse physical benefits getting outside had to offer. She wanted to spread the word and help others through what she loved...this is when the journey of MY URBAN TRAIL began.
So after a year in the planning, she took that leap and devoted herself to fulfilling the mission of giving women what they deserve.
MY URBAN TRAIL has since won ONLINE RETAIL START-UP OF THE YEAR 2022 as well as being chosen as one of Theo Paphitis' SBS Winners!
So here's to the future and continueing to spread our the word and help more women feel amazing in the outdoors.
Sustainability
As we grow, we are committed to continued improvement in preserving the environment we love so much. Some of the key things we do:
- Recyclable packaging
We are proud to say that 100% of our packaging is recyclable now.
- Sustainable materials
All our jackets are made using recycled polyester as well as organic certified cotton used in our T-shirts.
- Reducing Waste
We will soon be launching a sample sale programme to avoid any wastage. Any returns that are faulty are also recycled so none of our products are sent to landfill.
- Carbon Off-setting
We are currently creating a programme to to further our sustainability journey through contributing to climate solutions and reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible.
Giving Back
As a community driven brand, we strive to work together and help others where we can through fundraising and contributing to a wide range of charities. This is done through;
- A minimal £1 donation collected from participants for Mountain Rescue on our group hikes. They are vital in the outdoor community and these volunteers always deserve our support!
- Promotional incentives for customers where we also contribute to charities based on their outdoor achievements. For example for 2025 we launched MY 5 FOR 2025 with £15 donated to SHELTER charity on behalf of each registration.
We have already raised thousands of pounds for a variety of mental health and outdoors related charities.
